The group chat has been saying “we should go somewhere” since March
Pick somewhere, send the code, and let everyone pile in. Lancong holds the route, the money and the packing list on one page the whole group can edit.
Free, no card, no trial. Just joining someone else's trip?
Built for a group deciding together, not for one person planning alone.
Log who paid and who's in, down to itemised bills and sales tax. Lancong works out the fewest transfers that square everyone up.
Stops anyone can add, reorder or swap. Park alternatives beside a stop, or split a day into a Plan A and a Plan B when the group wants different things.
Shortlist the options, let everyone vote, then follow the stay through to booked — with the confirmed dates and details kept alongside.
Assign the power bank to one person and sunscreen to everyone, then see at a glance what's still unpacked the night before.
Everyone works off the same trip from their own phone, so there's one version of the plan instead of a spreadsheet doing the rounds.
Pay in ringgit, baht or dong and read it back in your own currency, on live Bank Negara Malaysia rates.
Name it, add the cities you're hitting and the dates. That's the whole setup.
Every trip gets a nine-character code. Drop it in the chat — joining takes seconds, and guests don't need an account.
Add stops, log expenses, tick off packing. Everyone's working from the same page.
Hosts can publish a finished trip to Discover. Browse them for ideas, or clone one as the starting point for your own.
Yes. Everything on this page is free to use — there's no paid tier, no trial and no card required.
To create a trip, yes — a free account with an email address, so you can get back into your trips from any device. To join someone else's trip and start splitting expenses, guest mode is enough.
A name, no password. You can join trips by code and split expenses straight away. Creating trips, photos, receipts, comments and ratings need a free account — and you can upgrade later without losing anything you've already done.
Yes — every country and every currency is built in, so you can plan a trip anywhere and log expenses in whatever you actually spend. Rates for the most-traded currencies refresh automatically; the rest use a stored approximation, which is close enough for splitting a bill but not a substitute for your bank's rate. You can also set your own exchange rate per trip.
In a hosted Postgres database, so every member of a trip sees the same thing. Trips are private by default: nothing shows up in Discover or on a public link unless the host explicitly shares it. The Privacy Policy lists every third party involved.

We'll set your home currency from this. You can change either later in Settings.
Guests can't use this feature. Create a free account to unlock it — everything you've done as a guest carries over.
Guest accounts have no password, so once you log out you can't log back in — you'll lose access to your trips, expenses and balances under this name.
Create a free account first and everything carries over — plus you unlock photos, receipts, comments & ratings.
Prefills these fields when you create a new trip.
How trip-mates can pay you back when settling up. Not a payment gateway — this just publishes details for them to use in their own banking app. Hidden by default; turn on "Visible to my trip-mates" below per method to share it.
Route AI itinerary generation, file import, and receipt scanning to your own Anthropic/OpenAI/Gemini key, billed to your own account, instead of the platform's. Never used for the shared "Generate Ideas" pool — that always uses the platform's key.
This permanently deletes your account. Trips you're part of keep their history — your name stays on past expenses and stops — but you lose access and can't log back in. This cannot be undone.
Not logged in? You'll join as a guest — you can use everything except saving photos/receipts, comments & ratings; you'll be asked to register when you try those.

Suggest an option — everyone can react instantly, host/co-host finalizes whenever ready.
This trip already has a confirmed destination. What should finalizing do?
Draft a candidate itinerary privately, then submit it so the group can compare it against others before a host or co-host applies the winner.

Stops inside this time window move to Plan A. Everything outside it (and any stop with no time set) stays shared on both plans.
This changes the default window for stops added from here on — it will not move any stop already assigned to a plan.
Copy stops already on this day into the other plan — a copy, not a move. The original stays where it is.
Whoever owes money marks it as paid below; the other person then confirms it was received.
How much each traveller paid, how much they actually spent (their fair share), and on what.
A personal spending target, kept private by default — or the host's trip-wide reference figure if you haven't set your own.

Rate your companions and see what everyone rated them — including what others rated you.
"Everyone" items need each traveller to bring their own; assigned items belong to just one person.
Pending items suggested by travellers, awaiting host approval.
Every amount in this trip is converted to your own currency.
Which country's currency this trip prices in — set automatically once the destinations above agree on one country, or pick it directly for a country-only trip.
Choose which itinerary stops and expenses friends or the public can see on your profile — never the full trip by default.
Take a copy of this trip with you — a printable itinerary, or the raw record.
Resetting clears this trip's contents. Deleting removes the trip for everyone in it. Neither can be undone.
Friends and public viewers on your profile only ever see items you explicitly share here — never your full trip by default.
Sets one visibility across all five categories below. Masking (e.g. "Hide address") stays per-category — turn it on individually where it applies.
Off by default — an outside viewer sees your shared stops plus Plan A only. Turn a day on to show both plans as labelled sections.
The host will review this and add it to the list.
